1. The Service

Maybe Tomorrow is a productivity app that helps users create and manage personal plans, today/tomorrow tasks, project areas, projects, project tasks, completion status, deadlines, and “defer to tomorrow” actions.

The App currently supports:

  • Guest mode.
  • Sign-in with Google Sign-In.
  • Sign in with Apple.
  • Firebase Authentication.
  • Local SQLite storage on iOS devices.
  • Cloud sync for signed-in accounts through our backend API.
  • Native ads supported by Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob and related consent tools.

The App is currently offered without in-app purchases or subscriptions. We may add paid features in the future, and any paid features will be disclosed before purchase and subject to applicable App Store rules.

2. Eligibility

You may use Maybe Tomorrow only if you can form a legally binding agreement or have appropriate permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Maybe Tomorrow is not intended for children under 14. If you are under 14, do not create an account or provide personal information unless your parent or legal guardian has provided any consent required by applicable law.

3. Guest Mode and Accounts

Guest mode

You may use the App as a guest. Guest data is stored locally on your device and may not be recoverable if you delete the App, erase app data, lose your device, or fail to sync it to a signed-in account.

Signed-in accounts

You may sign in using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. We use Firebase Authentication to manage app identity. After sign-in, you may be asked to choose a nickname. We may generate a 4-digit nickname tag to help distinguish users.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple or Google account and for keeping your device secure. We are not responsible for loss of data caused by your loss of account access, device loss, deletion of local data, or failure to sync data.

Account deletion

If you create an account, you may initiate account deletion in the App. Account deletion is permanent and may delete or anonymize your account record and associated synced data, subject to lawful retention exceptions and backup cycles. We may require reauthentication or confirmation before completing deletion.

4. Your Content and App Data

User Content” means plans, tasks, project names, task titles, task details, deadlines, completion status, project areas, project tasks, assignment relationships, and other information you create, enter, upload, save, or sync through the App.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, back up, sync, reproduce, modify for formatting or technical purposes, and otherwise use your User Content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and support the App and comply with applicable law.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the right to enter it into the App. Do not use the App to store or transmit unlawful content, content that infringes others’ rights, malware, or content that could harm the Service or other users.

Because task and project fields are free text, you should avoid entering sensitive information unless you are comfortable storing it locally and, for signed-in users, syncing it to our backend.

5. Sync, Backups, and Data Loss

Maybe Tomorrow may store data locally on your device and, if you are signed in, sync data to our backend API. Sync systems may experience delays, conflicts, interruptions, failed uploads, failed downloads, duplicates, or other errors.

We may maintain backups, logs, and sync metadata for security, recovery, debugging, and service continuity. Backups may not immediately reflect deletion, correction, or sync changes.

We are not responsible for loss of guest-only local data that was not synced to an account. You are responsible for maintaining any independent backup or record you consider important.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use the App for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or infringing purposes.
  2. Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization.
  3. Interfere with, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, or compromise the App, backend API, database, or infrastructure.
  4. Circumvent authentication, authorization, rate limits, security controls, advertising controls, consent controls, or account-deletion processes.
  5. Upload or transmit malware, exploit code, or content designed to damage systems.
  6. Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
  7. Use the App in a way that violates Apple, Google, Firebase, AdMob, or other third-party terms applicable to your use.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Maybe Tomorrow may display ads, including native ads. Ads may be provided through Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob and, if enabled, mediation or bidding partners such as Pangle or PubMatic.

Your use of Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Apple services, Google services, Firebase, AdMob, and other third-party services may also be governed by those providers’ terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party services, and we are not responsible for their independent actions, content, policies, or availability.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information. Our User Privacy Choices page explains how to manage privacy choices and rights.

By using the App, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

9. App Changes and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time, subject to applicable law. We may release bug fixes, security patches, feature changes, or compatibility updates. Some features may not be available in all countries, languages, devices, or iOS versions.

We may impose limits on storage, sync frequency, API use, account activity, or other Service usage to protect reliability, security, or fair access.

10. No Professional Advice

Maybe Tomorrow is a productivity tool. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, professional, emergency, or safety advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on tasks, plans, reminders, deadlines, or information stored in the App.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, software, design, interfaces, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and other materials provided by us are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or our intellectual property to you. You may use the App only as permitted by these Terms, Apple’s App Store rules, and applicable law.

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation to you, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account if you have created one.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, misused the Service, or if we must do so to comply with law or protect the Service, users, or third parties.

Termination does not affect rights and obligations that by their nature should survive, including ownership, licenses needed to complete deletion or legal compliance, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute terms, and payment obligations if paid features are added later.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every device or iOS version, or that data will always sync or be recoverable.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, device failure, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for the App or Service in the 12 months before the claim; or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct or for matters where indemnity is prohibited by consumer protection law.

17. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Maybe Tomorrow from Apple’s App Store:

  1. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.
  2. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  3. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  4. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, according to Apple’s rules. The App currently has no in-app purchases or subscription fees.
  5. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, legal compliance claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property claims, except as required by applicable law.
  6. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.
  7. Your use of the App must also comply with Apple Media Services Terms and applicable App Store rules.

18. Export and Sanctions Compliance

You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer the App except as authorized by applicable law. You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties, to the extent this representation is required by Apple or applicable law.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection law requires another law to apply.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved in the courts located in courts with competent jurisdiction in the Republic of Korea, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring claims in another jurisdiction or requires another dispute process.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will also try to resolve disputes informally and fairly.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the App, website, App Store update notes, or another appropriate method. The updated Terms will be effective on the date stated in the updated Terms unless a later date is required by law.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Account Deletion

If you have a signed-in account, you can initiate account deletion in the App:

Settings → Account → Delete Account

The deletion flow is designed to:

  1. Explain what will be deleted, including account records and synced productivity data.
  2. Require reauthentication or confirmation to prevent accidental deletion.
  3. Delete or anonymize backend account records and associated personal data that we are not legally required or permitted to retain.
  4. Delete or anonymize synced plans, tasks, projects, project tasks, relationships, completion status, deadlines, and related sync metadata.
  5. Delete the Firebase Authentication user or unlink/remove provider credentials as appropriate.
  6. Revoke applicable Sign in with Apple tokens or authorizations when required.
  7. Clear local App data from the device, or clearly offer a separate local-data reset step.
  8. Confirm completion or explain how long completion will take.

Some information may remain for a limited time in logs, backups, fraud-prevention records, or legally required records. We will not retain deleted account data longer than necessary for those purposes.

4. Guest Mode and Local Data Deletion

If you use Maybe Tomorrow only as a guest and do not create a server account, your productivity data is stored locally on your device. You can delete guest/local data by:

  • Using Settings → Privacy → Clear Local Data if available.
  • Deleting individual tasks, plans, projects, or areas in the App.
  • Deleting the App from your device.
  • Erasing app data or device data through iOS settings, where available.

If you sign in later and promote guest data to your account, the promoted data becomes signed-in account data and can be synced to our backend.

5. Advertising Choices

Maybe Tomorrow uses ads to support the App. Ads may be shown in list, today, tomorrow, project, and achievement areas.

Personalized ads

Personalized ads may use information about your activity in the App and information from other apps, websites, or services to select ads that may be more relevant to you. On iOS, this type of tracking requires permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework when it involves tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies or access to the iOS advertising identifier.

You can control personalized advertising through:

  • The App’s Google UMP consent and privacy options forms, where available.
  • The App Tracking Transparency prompt.
  • iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Any additional in-app “Do Not Sell or Share / Opt Out of Targeted Advertising” control we provide for applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

Non-personalized or contextual ads

If you do not consent to personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized, contextual, limited, or basic ads. These ads may use limited information such as general app context, device type, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, consent status, fraud-prevention signals, frequency capping, and basic measurement information where permitted.

Advertising identifiers and device identifiers

Depending on your choices and applicable law, advertising partners may process:

  • iOS advertising identifier, if App Tracking Transparency permission is granted.
  • App or device identifiers used for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, or analytics.
  • IP address and approximate location inferred from IP address.
  • Ad interactions, such as ads shown, clicked, viewed, or dismissed.
  • Diagnostics and performance data, such as crash-related data, app launch time, hang rate, or ad-loading performance.

If App Tracking Transparency permission is denied, Maybe Tomorrow does not access the iOS advertising identifier for tracking or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

6. “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” / “Opt Out of Targeted Advertising”

Maybe Tomorrow does not sell personal information for money.

However, some U.S. state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly. Our use of advertising SDKs, including Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob and, if enabled, mediation or bidding partners such as Pangle or PubMatic, may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” when those partners use identifiers or activity data for personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising.

You may opt out by:

  1. Opening the App and going to Settings → Privacy Choices or Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.
  2. Selecting the available option to opt out of personalized ads, sale/sharing, or targeted advertising, where presented.
  3. Turning off tracking permission for Maybe Tomorrow in iOS Settings.
  4. Emailing [email protected] with the subject “Opt Out of Targeted Advertising.”

After opting out, you may still see contextual, non-personalized, limited, or basic ads.

7. Access, Portability, and Download Requests

You may request a copy of personal information associated with your signed-in account, including:

  • Account profile data, such as Firebase UID, provider, email if provided, nickname, nickname tag, timestamps, and last login timestamp.
  • Synced plan, task, project area, project, project task, completion, deadline, assignment, and sync metadata.
  • Available privacy and consent records associated with your account or device, where technically feasible.

To request access or export, use the in-app privacy request flow or email [email protected] with the subject “Access Request.” We may ask you to verify your identity before providing data.

8. Correction Requests

You can correct most productivity data directly in the App by editing plans, tasks, projects, and related fields. You can correct your nickname in profile/account settings if that feature is available.

For other corrections, email [email protected] with the subject “Correction Request.”

9. Deletion Requests

You can delete individual productivity items in the App. You can delete your signed-in account through Settings → Account → Delete Account.

You can also email [email protected] with the subject “Deletion Request,” but for App Store compliance, the App is intended to allow users to initiate account deletion in-app without requiring an email-only support process, unless a specific legal exception applies.

10. EEA/UK Privacy Rights

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may request to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Delete personal data.
  • Restrict processing.
  • Receive data portability where applicable.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Korean Privacy Rights

If Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, and other rights available under applicable law. You may contact [email protected] or use in-app privacy controls.

If cross-border transfer disclosures are required, Maybe Tomorrow’s Privacy Policy includes or will be updated to include a verified overseas transfer or entrustment table identifying countries, recipients, purposes, data items, retention periods, and whether the transfer is provision or entrustment/consignment.

12. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state and whether the law applies to Maybe Tomorrow, you may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, obtain a portable copy of personal information, opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising, limit use of sensitive personal information, and appeal certain decisions.

Maybe Tomorrow is not currently designed to collect sensitive personal information such as precise geolocation, health data, biometric identifiers, government identifiers, or financial account information. If that changes, we will update our Privacy Policy and choices.

Authorized agents

Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require proof that you authorized the agent and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Appeals

If we deny a request and applicable law gives you the right to appeal, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” Include your original request date, the email/account involved, and why you believe the decision should be reviewed.

13. Verification

To protect your data, we may verify your identity before responding to access, correction, deletion, portability, or similar requests. We will use information you provide for verification only for that purpose, unless another lawful basis applies.

For signed-in users, verification may include reauthentication through Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Firebase Authentication, or confirmation through the email address associated with the account.

14. Response Timing

We will respond to privacy requests within the period required by applicable law. Some requests may take additional time if they are complex, if we need to verify your identity, or if deletion must propagate through backups or service providers. If completion takes additional time, we will provide appropriate notice where required.
