By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

1. Description of the Website

TrendsWhat is a static, English-language public content website that publishes informational articles about publicly observable trend signals, including Google Trends signals.

The Website organizes content by country and category. Example routes may include:

  • Home: /
  • Country page: /{country}/
  • Global category page: /global/{category}/
  • Country/category page: /{country}/{category}/
  • Article page: /{country}/{category}/{slug}/

TrendsWhat is a blog/media-style trend commentary website. It is not a SaaS product, marketplace, social network, financial advisory service, legal service, medical service, tax service, political consulting service, or user account-based platform.

The Website currently does not provide user accounts, login features, paid subscriptions, comments, user profiles, checkout, newsletter signup, or user-generated content features.

2. Informational Content Only

Content on the Website is provided for general informational and commentary purposes only.

The Website may publish content related to business, finance, technology, health, law, government, jobs, education, and similar topics. Such content is not professional advice.

You should not rely on the Website as a substitute for financial, investment, legal, medical, tax, political, career, educational, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying information with original sources and qualified professionals before making decisions.

3. Trend Data and Time-Sensitive Content

TrendsWhat may use publicly observable Google Trends signals and other public sources as editorial inputs. Trend signals can change quickly and may be incomplete, delayed, approximate, mislabeled, or no longer current.

We do not guarantee that any article, trend summary, ranking, category, search volume label, growth percentage, related query, timestamp, source link, image, or interpretation is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.

4. Automated and AI-Assisted Content

Articles, summaries, metadata, formatting, images, and other content on the Website may be generated, edited, organized, translated, summarized, or assisted by automation and AI tools.

AI-assisted or automated content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, unsupported assumptions, inaccurate summaries, or misleading wording. Images or thumbnails may be illustrative and may not depict real events, people, products, or places unless clearly stated.

You should verify important information using original sources or qualified professionals.

5. No Affiliation with Google

TrendsWhat is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by Google LLC.

Google, Google Trends, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, and related names or marks are trademarks or services of their respective owners. References to Google Trends or other Google services are for identification and commentary purposes only.

  • misrepresents TrendsWhat content as official, professional, certified, endorsed, or guaranteed information;
  • removes attribution, copyright notices, source references, or disclaimers;
  • manipulates, clicks, refreshes, automates, or incentivizes advertisements or ad impressions;
  • attempts ad fraud, invalid traffic, click fraud, impression fraud, or measurement manipulation;
  • introduces malware, spyware, harmful code, or security exploits;
  • infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, database rights, or other rights;
  • uses Website content to create misleading, deceptive, harmful, unlawful, or impersonating services.

Automated access may be permitted or limited by the Website's robots.txt file. Permission to crawl under robots.txt does not grant permission to infringe intellectual property rights, overload the Website, ignore these Terms, or reuse content in a misleading way.

7. Intellectual Property

The Website, including its design, layout, articles, text, graphics, images, metadata, indexes, code, organization, selection, arrangement, and branding, is owned by or licensed to the Website operator, except for third-party materials, public-source references, trademarks, external links, and materials otherwise identified.

Subject to these Terms, you may access the Website for personal, informational, and non-commercial use.

You may link to public pages of the Website and quote short excerpts with clear attribution, provided your use is lawful and not misleading. Any rights you have under applicable law, such as fair use, fair dealing, quotation rights, or similar exceptions, are not limited by these Terms.

You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, sell, license, syndicate, mirror, or create a substitute for substantial portions of the Website without prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Sources, Links, and Advertisements

Articles may cite or link to third-party websites. Advertisements may also appear on the Website and may link to third-party websites, products, or services.

External links, citations, advertisements, source references, or advertiser content are not endorsements by TrendsWhat.

We do not control third-party websites, advertisers, services, products, claims, terms, privacy policies, or security practices. You access third-party websites and interact with advertisers at your own risk.

9. Google AdSense and Advertising Integrity

The Website uses Google AdSense and may display advertising. You agree not to manipulate advertisements, clicks, impressions, measurements, referral signals, or ad-serving systems.

Do not click ads repeatedly, use automated tools to view or click ads, encourage others to click ads, generate artificial traffic, or engage in any activity that may violate advertising platform policies or applicable law.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected or processed through email contact, analytics, advertising, hosting, CDN, security, cookies, and similar technologies.

If you intend to send a formal notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act or another copyright regime, additional legal requirements may apply.

12. Corrections and Content Concerns

We welcome good-faith correction requests and content concerns. You may contact us at [email protected].

Submitting a correction request does not guarantee that content will be changed, removed, or updated. We may decide whether and how to update content at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

13. No Warranties

The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrendsWhat disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, availability, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that the Website will be secure, available, current, free of errors, free of harmful components, or suitable for your needs.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrendsWhat and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal injury, financial loss, legal consequences, medical consequences, or reliance-based damages arising from or related to the Website.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of TrendsWhat and its operator for any claim arising from or related to the Website will not exceed USD $100 or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrendsWhat and its operator from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

  • your use or misuse of the Website;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of applicable law;

No specific governing law, court venue, or formal dispute-resolution process is designated for use of this informational Website. Any mandatory laws that apply in your place of residence remain unaffected.

Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and provide a reasonable description of the dispute so the parties can attempt to resolve it informally, unless applicable law allows otherwise.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and TrendsWhat regarding your use of the Website.
